One wanted poster with a sixty-dollar reward for the arrest of William Finney. Mr. Finney was an African American man who escaped the United States Penitentiary in Atlanta, Georgia. He had been sentenced to three years and six months for robbing a post office.

This collections includes 18 posters of African American men wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation mailed to the Fisher Body Plant Chief of Police in Detroit, Michigan, as well as one poster of an African American man wanted by the Ohio State Bureau of Criminal Indentification and Investigation. The posters include photographs, finger prints, decriptions, signatures, criminal records, aliases, and charges the men face. Complaints include murder, attempted murder, robbery, assault, and burglary. Includes complaints from Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Virginia, Wisconson and Athens and Atlanta, Georgia.
